本案回應該地都市規劃的歷史：原都市線性綠帶系統因當時需求置入學校而被阻斷，如今因宿舍老舊採BOT重建的機會而能重塑一都市綠帶端點的垂直森林，一座歡迎開放的校園建築。

Responding to changing zoning history, Urban Forest is a Build-Operate-Transfer building complex reconnecting urban green corridor blocked by private massing, further to create an open welcoming campus building, a vertical forest.
