當城市擴張持續地改變都市邊陲的水平工業地景，原本低矮的鐵皮工廠開始垂直化生長。本案置入一50M高的建築塊體，神祕表皮呈現工業的精準感。10層樓高的建築提供了面大量植樹的玻璃辦公室、具吊裝口的生產塊體、頂層的研發室、偌大的觀景台、一座鋁窗博物館與唯有衛星方能見到的企業形象花圃。

While urban sprawl is pushing the boundary of a developing city, its surrounding industrial landscape as important urban life support keeps changing. Light industries such as product-assemblage and parcel transfer, under the rising pressure of land demand, in order to stay close to the city for easy connection, inevitably go vertical: to build higher.

DK Vertical Factory is a response to the scenario. Rising from the horizontal industrial landscape in suburban New Taipei City, a 50-meter-tall building of a window factory presents a gigantic and bold secret cube in orange brand color to be a landmark of the area. The corrugated metal panel cladding of the envelope, taking the advantage of vertical height, aims to deliver a well-organized, industrial-precise and modern facade impression.

The 10-story new factory will offer all the need from manufacturing to user: managing office, material docking and storage, product assemblage and quality control, an innovating center, and a double-height display museum near sky garden, where people can easily visit through fast positioning the roof logo garden in Google Maps.
